A multifaceted artist of 25 years, Karyne Contreras brings her innovative teaching style to the youth of Unity. Karyne is a Professional Dancer, Choreographer, Poet, and now Spiritual Educator whose Sunday school program is one that inspires children to reach for their spiritual potential: “Teaching children is like a delicate gift; it must be opened reverently, with unconditional patience. What you find inside the box, or child, is the soft face of Love, saying yes, without speaking.” FOCUS FOR APRIL: Theme – Harmony & good judgment: one in the same. The key to good judgment and harmony is to recognize God in one another and all things, and thus, not to judge others. We can understand each other better if we take the time to see the world through each other’s eyes. All answers are within us; we have only to ask. Symbol – the Turtle Biblical reference – “Judge not, that you be not judged.” Mathew 7:1 Prayer – “Thank you Mother-Father God, for everything you are. Thank you for guiding us in our work and play as we learn to see your loving presence in each other.” Sunday Circle Spiritual Enrichment for Children Every Sunday at 10:00 ~ Ages 3 and up Godly principles and values are explored creatively through music, song, dance, art, and story. Children perform the Prayer of Protection on stage at the end of class. Performance opportunities, outreach, and community activities throughout the year. April’s classes will be held at MACC For more information, email Karyne, karynecontreras@gmail.com |
