“Children are a very important part of our Spiritual Community”

KEIKI KORNER NEWS

As we journey on to the Emerald City of OZ, this week we'll meet the
Cowardly Lion. We'll learn as the Lion will learn that we are all
courageous children of God. We will talk about being made in the likeness
and image of God. The power and presence of the energy of God will
always protect us. The Lion represents Courage.

Our affirmation this week is: "I am a courageous child of God."

It was so much fun presenting the Annual Children's Christmas Pageant this
year. All the keiki were so enthusiastic about doing the play, many of them
wanted speaking parts. We lightened up the star with a helium ballon which
worked much better than the heavy star on a log pole. It was truly delightful
and I was told that this was the best one ever. When I asked,"Why, what
made it better? She replied "I don't know - it just was."

There will not be Children's Church on Christmas morning or New Year's
morning. If you bring your children, they will need to stay in service with
you. We will resume Children's Church on Sunday, January 8th. Thanks for
your understanding.
